Corel Draw is a vector based desktop publishing software that is used to create graphic assets for different projects. Graphic Designers around the world choose to use Corel Draw to Design and Develop Graphic files for their illustrations. This course teaches our students how to work with Corel Draw to complete their Graphic Design Projects.


This is a single course and by itself does not lead to any career path

  • Grade 12 graduate or mature student status (British Columbia 19 years or older)
  • Meet minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to

  • Create drawings
  • Save and print drawings
  • Create Basic shapes
  • Fit text to a path
  • Use Fills and outlines
  • Insert Symbols and clipart
  • Modify & transform objects
  • Text objects & effects
  • Apply contours and shadows
  • Blend two objects together

Assessment will consist of quizzes, exams, and assignments.

Students must pass the course with at least 60%.
