PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This course provides an introduction to gemstones. The student learns a wealth of practical knowledge, which can be successfully used in the jewelry business. Emphasis is placed on gemstone properties and characteristics. Topics include quality and value factors.

This is a single course and by itself does not lead to any career path
- Grade 12 graduate or mature student status (British Columbia 19 years or older)
- Meet minimum English language proficiency requirements.
