This course focuses on the design and modeling of one-off pieces of jewelry by computer.
Students will develop the skills to design jewellery items and 3D objects using Rhino.
Students will achieve skills and knowledge required to explore and apply the design process in a 3-dimensional (3D) environment.


This is a single course and by itself does not lead to any career path

  • Grade 12 graduate or mature student status (British Columbia 19 years or older)
  • Meet minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to

  • Learn the history of jewelry
  • Drawing and rendering using computer
  • Learning design computing
  • Learning 3D design
  • Basics of 3D Max

Assessment will consist of quizzes, exams, and assignments.

Students must pass the course with at least 60%.
