ITD Canada is a Private Post Secondary Educational Institute. By Law, graduates from private non-degree-granting institutes are NOT eligible for a Post Graduate Work permit. As a result, NONE of ITD Canada's programs can grant graduates a PGWP.
TO BE CLEAR, NONE OF OUR GRADUATES CAN APPLY FOR PGWP BECAUSE ITD IS NOT OFFERING PGWP-ELIGIBLE PROGRAMS.
ITD Canada would like to raise awareness that this decision is in no way related to the quality or the history of any college. Provincial and Federal authorities unilaterally decided that private colleges should not be eligible for the PGWP.
The government simply prioritizes students who attend Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) that are publicly funded. ITD Canada is NOT one of them and is treated as such.
