The success of ITD Canada is mirrored in the success of our students. We want to help you achieve your personal and professional goals through our comprehensive educational programs, which will assist you from the first day of enrollment to your entrance into the workforce. We offer industry-supported programs and quality student services including student advising, financial help, tutoring, and coop placement assistance. As an ITD Canada student, you will learn from instructors who have done what you dream of doing, in small classes that allow for personalized learning. This means you get the individual attention you need when you need it, and in an intimate learning community.
Once you’ve studied on campus, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills during a coop placement in a real workplace. This on-the-job training will be invaluable during your job search. You will also learn the essential skills to search for and obtain employment in your chosen field to help you transition smoothly from student to worker.
ITD Canada Admission Representatives ensure that students receive guidance when first thinking about their career and education aspirations. Campus Financial Advisors are also on-hand to assist students with information about financial aid programs and scholarships they may be eligible for. Meanwhile, ITD Canada has a variety of student services to meet the academic needs of our students. Students and their families are welcome to visit our campus to explore the many ways that ITD Canada provides the best possible educational experience.
Co-op & Career Services
Many of our Diplomas include Co-op placements that allow students to practice their knowledge and skills in a truly Canadian job environment. Co-ops are paid work experience opportunities and students are required to successfully complete their co-op terms in order to graduate from their program and receive a diploma.
A co-op experience at the Institute of Technology Development of Canada provides our students with a number of benefits:
- Being able to apply knowledge and skills gained
- Strengthening of employable skills
- Gaining project, organization and time management skills
- Being responsible for a set of deliverables
- Gaining insight into how businesses operate
- Increasing professional confidence
- Establishing contacts and networking for future employment
